Vegetarian xmas dinner ideas anyone? - xmas ideas

Hello, as the title already says, a yes in vegetables (and I can not eat lettuce and carrots, and no, I'm not a stick) and a good cook, but had a complete brain freeze this year. I usually roast puff pastry filled with feta cheese and vegetables, and (various other bits and not screw things like hate!) Just ask if anyone has some ideas for interesting vegetarian main recipes for Christmas? It would be nice to hear a little! Thank you in advance and Merry Christmas!

Vegetarian Paté

This cake recipe is better than TV dinners for two reasons: He's a vegetarian and prepared and cooked, not frozen, and microwave. It is also fast and flexible, try it.

Makes 6 servings
1 hours time
Very large pot Tools
Wooden Spoon
2-form
Roller

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon butter T
6 c mixed vegetables, cut into thin slices or diced. Some ideas:
- Fruits
- Carrots
- Celery
- Corn
- Beans
- Leek
- Onions
- Peas
- Potatoes
- Spinach
- Tomato
- Zucchini
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ cup flour
3 c hot vegetable stock and / or milk
½ t thyme
2 T fresh parsley, chopped
1 t salt or soy sauce
black pepper
1 cake bottom or vegan pie crust dough recipe

Instructions Melt the butter in a pan, add vegetables and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Add garlic and continue to sauté for another 5Minutes.
Flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.

Slowly, the hot liquid, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.

Add thyme and parsley and continue cooking until all vegetables after the procedure, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer the vegetables to the pan.

Oven to 400

Prepare the pie crust dough, roll into a circle, then slightly larger than the pan. It was the vegetables, without sealing the edges.

Place in oven and bake until the filling is bubbly and crust is golden, 20-30 minutes.

Notes This recipe is very flexible. You can only use one or two vegetables, or a group. You can make it thicker, increasing the amount of vegetables, Saucier, or by increasing the amount of liquid. Try to change the way then try to find your favorites. :-)
