It takes weeks, sometimes months, before a change.
Make sure that it must not splinter.
Ho know that there is a food allergy?

Check out the top 3 to 4 ingredients in food. Often are the main things like chicken and corn. Now find a food that does not have these things in it. In addition to that it's a different brand. Foods produced by the same company have another source of protein (fish and rice instead of chicken and corn, or so), but the company still with many of these small parts (the other 20 cases) on the list. It may take some research, that most food, chicken and corn, and perhaps are a bit more of a problem, but you can do.

BUT ... I worked for 8 years as a veterinarian technician, and I've never heard of a change in the foods that trigger allergies ... Maybe your cat was allergic to new foods, but it makes sense that food would be too many of his old problems. Have a rule to see if the new food goes to work, you give one months. If the new food is causing the itching immediately? If so, it was probably no food. In addition, the change back to him enough time (one month) to see if it would work? It would be more likely than theirTEM is a change in laundry products (cat sleeping on blankets or clothes or something, a chemical in the yard or neighborhood, if your cat goes, the bath of years or even chips! Nasty once received, and real pain for you and the cat. Good luck with everything.

Are you sure that there is a food allergy? If so, try to experiment, the grainless with food of high quality and / or plans.

Avoid examples of poor quality food is: Anything you find in a grocery store to be low end, Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Royal Canin, Whiskas, Fancy Feast, Friskies, Meow Mix.

Examples of high quality foods to look for: Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Felidae, Fromm Four Star, Merrick, GO Natural, natural diversity of the prairies, the logic of nature, Artemis Fresh Mix, Wolf Organics.

Some good programs are grainless: Innova EVO, Wellness CORE, Blue Wilderness, the diversity of the natural instinct, Orijen, Horizon Legacy, Merrick before grain, Fromm Surf & Turf, Now! "Sold Gold Indigo Moon, and Taste of the Wild.

Remember that foods should gradually change, especially when switching to a higher quality, so that no stomach upset.

Edit: As mentioned above, make sure it is a food allergy and not something like parasites.

I think your cat has fleas. You need the cat a tablet per day. I do not know his name, but by the vet and buy medicine for fleas.

Switched p [Roper types of foods. This means no dry food

Diet, since there were so many bad things out there is very important for the health of your cat
In contrast to what you have heard, dry foods are not a big thing to feed a cat.
Please read the label and what they are feeding? What are the ingredients? You know what I mean? This is the first element in the muscle meat of chicken or meal or other things?

Dry foods are the No. 1 cause of diabetes in cats, in addition to being an important factor for kidney disease, obesity, crystals, urinary tract infections and a host of other problems. Food allergies are very common when feeding dry foods. Rash, scabs behind the tail and on the chin are all symptoms
The problems associated with dry food that cereal and carbohydrates, which are loaded many cats (carnivores) can not be edited. In addition, a cat that needs most of the moisture, is allegedly in the food, but
Dry, 95% of which is zapped dry foods in the processing. Another thing, most use horrible ingredients and do not use a muscle meat as the main ingredient, which is based on the use of plant protein compared to animals. Not good for an animal to eat meat to survive must.

Would you consider a canned food without gravy (gravy = carbs), a muscle used as the first ingredient and no corn, at least in the first 3 ingredients in all cases. The best food for cats does not contain any grains at all.
Fancy Feast is a medium, high quality food with 9lives, Friskies Whiskas cans and less on welfare and food Merrick high level of quality. I prefer an average grade of canned food will feed the premium dry food.
In addition, dry food has not been demonstrated, better for the teeth. A tough to brush their teeth or parts of it depend? http://www.felinefuture.com/nutrition/bp ...

Trainees may also receive free food for their dogs and cats at home. You could be a notebook Iams, Purina bag and free pizza. http://iml.jou.ufl.edu/projects/Spring04 ...
